With a robust background in maritime law, Chevanev spent six years as a legal officer in the Caribbean, where he developed a keen interest in immigration law while  building his own private practice. He holds a Master’s degree in International Maritime Law, earned on a full scholarship and completed with distinction. His career journey includes working as an in-house immigration attorney with the Council of Jewish Organizations of Flatbush, where he honed his skills in FOIAs, naturalization, and other immigration matters managing over 90+ clients.

Beyond immigration law, Chevanev also handles maritime claims and arbitration, ship finance, probate, personal injury, and other legal areas. As immigration law is federal, Chevanev is licensed to practice immigration law in all 50 states. Additionally, he is licensed to practice in New York, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Lucia, and Grenada.
